Braen Supply, Inc. was formed in 2000, as a subsidiary of Stone Industries, Inc., to meet the needs of our customer base.  Rather than send our customers elsewhere for landscape, masonry and hardware building supplies, we reasoned that by diversifying we could instead be a “one-stop” shop. 

Since contractors were already here purchasing sand, crushed stone, decorative stone, and recycled products, we were aiming to keep them here to buy brick, pavers, bluestone, sandstone, limestone, cultured stone, etc, etc…

From early on in this new venture, it was clear that our customers preferred to purchase all of their materials from us rather than shopping around at various places.  As a result, we went from offering contractors a limited range of basic products and materials to an extremely wide range.

In fact, the business continued to grow so successfully that in mid 2005 we determined the initial business could be further diversified to satisfy the retail market.  Fortunately, an existing business with a prime location off route 287 in Haskell was available for purchase.

After several months of negotiations, Braen Supply, Inc. acquired Wanaque Supply, Inc. in May 2006 enabling us to continue to serve our valued wholesale customers at our Haledon location while providing a new retail and wholesale site in Haskell.

With a new 6,500 square foot showroom and full-service True Value® hardware department at our location in Haskell, Braen Supply, Inc. is now poised to become the premier landscape, masonry and hardware building supply venue in the greater tri-state area.
